Angel Yau is a comedian, sketch actor, storyteller and filmmaker from Queens, NY. She started her comedy career (unintentionally) when she ran for her high school election. You can see her on Joe Mande's Award-Winning Comedy Special on Netflix and the Funny or Die short film, Soojung Dreams of Fiji on Amazon Prime. She has told stories on the RISK!, Mortified, and Story Collider podcasts. Her performances were apart of the Seattle Sketchfest, New York Sketchfest, Women in Comedy Festival, Solocom, SF sketchfest and more! She was on the UCB Beta Team, SCRAPS and Digital Team, LASH. She is proudly part of the first ever all Asian, all female, musical sketch group, AzN PoP! who had a glorious 8 months run at UCB. She is currently on the new Maude Team, "What Would Do." She has studied with Lennon Parham, Gavin Speiller, Sean Conroy, Neil Campbell, Shannon O'Neil, Neil Casey, Will and Kevin Hines to name a few. She is still a very shy girl who will tap you on the shoulder to tell you something instead of shouting.
